After the body was finished, it came off the pan again. This phase covered the welding of the floor pans, brake work and cosmetics. Unfortunately, I failed to photograph every step of the way.

Here is the pan getting the gaps filled in. I tacked in some spacers to hold the place of the pan before taking the body off. Then the gaps were filled with sheet metal and connected to the front pan to finish it off.

After filling the gaps, I flipped over the chassis to seal the seams and give it a good rubber undercoating.

I bolted on a rebuilt front axle beam from Kustom 1 Warehouse. Then I traded spindles and installed the front disc brakes.

For added stopping power, I went with the e-brake rear disc setup.
What you don't see is the POR-15 treatment to everything on the rear suspension and front frame head. Or the new shocks and brake lines.
